MANILA, Philippines - Erich Gonzales (photo), the star of the ABS-CBN teleserye Maria La Del Barrio and who will soon topbill the international movie titled Suddenly It’s Magic opposite Thai superstar Mario Maurer, is also a favorite product endorser.
Her newest is for the Sisters Sanitary Napkins and Pantyliners and which is fitting, as she admits that she has been using the truly Philippine-made feminine hygiene products for sometime now. The makers of Sisters Sanitary Napkins and Pantyliners, Mega Soft Hygienic Products, saw in Erich the qualities of an ideal endorser, with her wholesome image plus her truly Filipina beauty and charm.
It was in October of the year 2000 that the company Mega Soft Hygienic Products was born through the collective efforts of a group of young entrepreneurs. The company aimed to provide Filipinas with alternative, affordable and reliable feminine products. Now, after 11 years of consistent sales and product acceptance, the Sisters Sanitary Napkins and Pantyliners product line has become available in all trade channels throughout the country. When it comes to building stars, Boss Vic del Rosario of Viva Films is one of the most successful. The Megastar, Sharon Cuneta and the Original Bad Boy of Philippine Movies, Robin Padilla, are glaring examples, not to mention Sarah Geronimo.
Now, he is quite optimistic about a young all-female group called Pop Girls. This is the reason why Sisters Feminine Napkins tapped them as its newest endorsers. But according to Sisters exec, Aileen Go, this doesn't mean they are replacing Maja Salvador as the brand's endorser. "The more, the merrier," she said during the Pop Girls' launch at City Best Restaurant.
Popgirls just did a promotional campaign in Mindoro, Dagupan, Pampanga, and Laguna. Pop Girls helped Sisters Sanitary Napkins in instilling to the youth the importance of good education by giving deserving students certificate of recognition for being exemplary youth achievers in high school.
GMA Artist Center’s young star Isabel Oli joined Sisters Feminine Napkins owners Emilio and Aileen Go and the media in Cabanatuan City to honor outstanding female high school students with certificates of recognition and Sisters gift bags. The awarding ceremony was held at NE Bodega Mall, with the statuesque Isabel Oli performing several popular songs to the delight of the crowds and shoppers. Sisters Feminine Napkins has now risen to become the no. 3 among affordable sanitary napkins, and it now has Sisters panty-liners in re-sealable packs.
Isabel Oli and Sisters Feminine Napkins were both invited by NE Bodega Mall owner Leticia Uy and her daughter Gay for their anniversary celebration.
Chynna Ortaleza is one of these few stars who will take time out and be with the youth for an afternoon of fellowship. The star motored along with the executives that manufacture Sisters Sanitary Napkins to Pagbilao, Quezon, the neighboring town of Lucena City, to meet students of Talipan National High School.
The actress represented was the special guest at the anniversary festivities of La Suerte Supermarket in Pagbilao. Chynna did not just host the impromptu program, she also performed for the students, joined them in the games and had fun. She also helped distribute Sisters school bags, which is part of Sisters Sanitary Napkins’ advocacy to encourage academic excellence and healthy adolescent development through moral values and good health habits.
Chynna joined members of the entertainment press in the bus to Pagbilao, Quezon along with Aileen Go of Sisters Sanitary Napkins and Prince Maya Bus owner Sarina Jamera. They were warmly welcomed by La Suerte Supermarket owners Julian and Violeta Ong, and the siblings Robbie and Rachel Ong.
Maja Salvador interviewed in the press launching of her newest endorsement Sisters Sanitary Napkin. One asked her if she already courted by a lesbian?
"Naku, wala pa naman po",
She says. What if some lesbian try to court her?
"Naku, bibigyan ko na lang siya ng Sisters napkin",
said Maja with laugh.
It means that Maja really don’t like to have relationships with same sex. Maja wants to concentrate now with her career, In-fact she will have new shows from her network ABS-CBN.
